Privacy Policy

BobbyOS is a private operating tool used by Hosted by Howell. This policy applies to Google account data accessed through BobbyOS Google API integrations.

The correspondence-freshness feature uses the Gmail metadata permission for an authorized Hosted by Howell Google account.

For exact Gmail threads already identified in private operating records, the current implementation requests only the thread identifier, message identifiers, and internal message timestamps needed to identify the newest message in that thread.

This feature does not search the mailbox or request message bodies, subjects, sender or recipient headers, snippets, attachments, or message content.

BobbyOS uses the newest message identifier from a tracked thread only to compare that thread with the last message identifier already reconciled into the associated operating record.

If the identifiers differ, BobbyOS may surface an internal notice that the operating record could be behind newer correspondence. BobbyOS does not interpret the message content or automatically update the operating record.

Private operating records may store the exact Gmail thread identifier and the last reconciled message identifier so the same known conversation can be checked again later.

The freshness check processes message identifiers and internal timestamps server-side. Message bodies and other message content are not stored by this feature.

Hosted by Howell does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising.

Google user data is not shared with unrelated third parties. Limited processing by infrastructure or service providers may occur only as needed to operate and secure BobbyOS.

Stored Gmail thread and reconciled-message identifiers may be retained in private operating records for as long as the related business record remains operationally necessary.

Access can be revoked through the Google Account permissions controls. Revoking access stops future Gmail freshness checks after existing access tokens can no longer be used. Revocation does not automatically delete ordinary Hosted by Howell business records created independently of the Google API integration.

BobbyOS uses server-side credentials and limits the correspondence-freshness feature to exact tracked threads. Credentials are not intentionally exposed to the browser or committed to the public website repository.

No system can guarantee perfect security, but Hosted by Howell uses reasonable technical and operational safeguards intended to limit access to authorized use.

BobbyOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This policy may be updated if BobbyOS changes how it accesses or uses Google user data. Material changes will be reflected on this page and the effective date will be updated.
